Chocolate Cherry Almond Milk Smoothie

A gradient smoothie with 25g of protein and only 2g of sugar, that tastes like Cherry Garcia Ice Cream? Yes. I love this option post-workout to hold me over until my next meal.

Chocolate Cherry Almond Milk Smoothie

Total Time: 15 minutes

Prep Time: 15 minutes 


Ingredients:

Chocolate Component

Cherry Component 

  • 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries
  • (optional) 1-2 pitted medjool dates for added sweetness

Instructions:

1. Add almond milk to blender. 

Add chcolate protein powder.

Add dates. 

Add ice, if desired. 

And blend.

2. Rinse blender, then add almond milk. 

Add frozen cherries. 

Add ice, if desired. 

Blend. 

3. Serve separately or mix chocolate and cherry smoothies as desired.
